Anita Pavković, Full Professor-tenured, graduated at the Faculty of Economics and Business in 1998, major Finance, and in 2003 she finished Postgraduate Study Program Accounting, Revision and Finance. In December 2007 she successfully completed her PhD dissertation entitled “The Influence of Asset Securitization on Financial System Development”. From 1999 she is employed at the Faculty of Economics and Business Zagreb and from February 2024 she is a Full professor – tenured at the Department of Finance. Professor Pavković is a lecturer for courses „ „Bank Management“, „Regulation and Supervision of the Financial Sector“ and “Financial institutions and markets”.
Professor Pavković is author or co-author of more than 100 papers. She visited reputable financial institutions and markets worldwide. She was a mentor or member of the Committee in numerous PhD, MSc, Specialist postgraduate programme, MA and BA theses. From 2014 to 2018 she was a Vice-dean for Business Processes and Administration at the Faculty of Economics and Business. She is an Editor-in-chief of the Proceedings of the Faculty of Economics and Business in Zagreb. She gained Deans' recognition of the Faculty of Economics and Business Zagreb in 2015 for work at the position of the Vice-dean for Business Processes and Administration. In the practical part, she is active within the professional governing bodies of financial institutions in Croatia. Since 2021, she has successfully coordinated and led the Banking Academy's specialized professional program for acquiring career banker competencies in cooperation with leading banks, highly experienced professionals and the academy community. In 2024, she published and edited the book Banks and Banking: Challenges and Trends. Since 2025, she has been a member of the academic board of the European Banking Institute and CEE Banking Perspective.
The main objective of the project is to analyze how digital technology contributes to quality regulation and supervision of the financial system (RegTech and SupTech). The project will analyze the current state, trends, and advantages and disadvantages of RegTech and SupTech. The project will focus on demonstrating the actual application of the aforementioned technologies and providing recommendations (guidelines) for a higher quality and more efficient implementation of RegTech and SupTech in the financial system. In this way, the project will contribute to creating assumptions for greater resilience of the financial system to shocks, crises, and risks. The findings, results, and recommendations will also be a lever for a more efficient digital transformation of financial service providers.
